Who we are
Frequency
Frequency is a group of DJs, producers and procurers of music working out of Folkestone and Sandgate on the Kent coast — decades of experience between them, all differently flavoured. Like a multipack of crisps that just come together perfectly at the party.
We put on nights, we make mixes, and we broadcast. Supported by Radio Folkestone and DCR, Frequency Presents is for the people and by the people.
The name is the whole idea. Everyone's tuned to something. Find yours.

The room

Mimosa is a modern Mediterranean restaurant and cocktail bar on Sandgate High Street, a few steps up from the seafront. Opened in 2025 by Enesh Thompson and Ahmet Okmen, it's handcrafted cocktails, a proper wine list and a beer garden round the back.
Make an evening of it — eat first, catch the broadcast, stay for the room.

Wayne JC has been behind the wheels of steel since 2012 — first as a local radio DJ, then back on the things that spin. The Tracklist is where he lives: the newest house across the genre, keeping the shows fresh and the pace bouncing.
